The offline games I keep for dead-signal days
Everyone has that moment: a tunnel, a plane, a rural stretch with no bars, and suddenly half your games are useless loading screens. I keep a small offline shelf for exactly these times.
The list spans genres on purpose. A racer for quick adrenaline, an adventure like Hollow Vale Journey for slow evenings, a management sim for longer stretches. Variety matters when you're stuck for hours.
The one hard rule: it must work fully offline, no daily login, no server checks. I test this by putting the phone in airplane mode and launching cold. Games that whine about connection get cut.
Build your own version of this shelf before you need it, not during. Future you, stuck in a tunnel, will be grateful.
